In case your Google Chrome browser is running slow and you suspect that one of the extensions is consuming too much memory, but you are not sure which one is it, here is a quick trick to view memory usage of each extension so that you can disable them and keep them enable only if you require them.
So here are the steps to View Memory Usage of Extensions in Google Chrome.
- First step is to Open a tab in your Google Chrome browser.
- Type “about:memory” in the URL bar and press “Enter”.
- It will show a page that details the memory usage of each extension.
Once you know which extension is not performing well, uninstall it or disable it temporarily. In case you have too many extensions installed in your chrome browser then I would suggest you to disable those which are of no use and keep only required extensions only. If you have any problem in doing above steps then you can ask me in comments and do not forget to share this post to your friends on facebook and twitter. By then good bye and stay update.
